Ashnoor Kaur's Mom Almost Pulled Her From Bigg Boss 19; 'It Hurt Me Deeply' After Upbringing Jab

Have you ever watched a reality show and wondered what the contestants’ parents are going through? Yeah, it’s brutal. And for Ashnoor Kaur’s family, watching ‘Bigg Boss 19’ just became almost unbearable.

Things kicked off when fellow contestant Farhana Bhatt questioned Ashnoor’s upbringing during a spat. That single comment didn’t just upset Ashnoor inside the house, it sent shockwaves to her parents watching at home. It left them deeply hurt.

“I thought of pulling her out”

Look, no parent wants to see their child in distress. Ashnoor’s mother, Avneet Kaur, was so heartbroken she was ready to end her daughter’s journey on the show. “It hurt me deeply,” she said in an interview. “For a moment, I even thought of pulling her out of the show.”

She revealed that one ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode was so “very disturbing” that she cried significantly. The feeling of seeing your child misunderstood on national television was just too much.

Ashnoor’s father, Gurmeet Singh, felt the same pain. He said it’s “very painful to see someone scold your child or watch tears in their eyes.” All they can do, he explained, is try to send her strength from the outside.

Are the show’s makers being fair?

Here’s the thing. Despite the provocation, Ashnoor’s parents are incredibly proud of how she’s handling herself. They pointed out she has maintained her calmness and dignity, never using foul language or disrespecting elders like Kunickaa Sadanand. She has never crossed her boundaries.

But they’re also worried. They’ve voiced concerns that the show’s makers might have a bias, showing only a selective version of the events. They’re advocating for Ashnoor’s “real, actual personality” to be shown, because as they put it, constant demotivation can be so emotionally damaging.

And then there’s this surprising detail. Ashnoor’s mother revealed she spoke to Awez Darbar. What did he say? He reportedly told her that contestants are subjected to way more bullying than what actually gets broadcast to you at home.

So what do you think? Is it fair for a contestant’s upbringing to be attacked on a show, and are her parents right to be this worried? Let us know your thoughts.
